- Schools that do to advance to the knockout stage will not be awarded any ranking points.
- If a team forfeits or is disqualified, it will not receive any ranking points.
- If fewer than four schools participate in an event, the results will not count towards the LCSD Cup standings.
- For each scoring event, schools will be awarded the following points according to their rankings in the four divisions:

Notes: | (1) | In the event of a tie in rankings, the tied schools will be awarded equal points for that position, and the subsequent rank will be left vacant. | | (2) | For competition where no classification matches are held for the 5th to 8th places, schools that finish between 5th and 8th will each be awarded 3.5 points. |
Participation points - Schools will be awarded 1 participation point for each scoring event they take part in, with a maximum of 1 point for each division.
- If a team forfeits or is disqualified, it will not receive any participation points.
Ranking of the LCSD Cup - Schools will be ranked based on the total of their ranking points and participation points earned from all scoring events in each division. The four schools with the highest cumulative points in each division will be awarded Champion, First Runner-up, Second Runner-up and Third Runner-up respectively.
- In the event of a tie in cumulative points within a division, the rankings will be determined by the number of first-place finishes. The school with more first-place finishes in that specific division will be ranked higher. If still tied, the number of second-place finishes will be considered, and so on.
- If the tie remains unresolved after applying the above method, the schools concerned will share the same position, and the next position will be left vacant.
