Music Office Youth Choir

Founded in 1980, the Music Office Youth Choir is one of the Music Office’s flagship performing ensembles. It presents a wide-ranging repertoire of sacred and secular works from Chinese and Western traditions, encompassing classical, contemporary and popular music. The Choir performs regularly at local concerts and has collaborated with distinguished visiting ensembles from Japan, the United States, Ireland and the United Kingdom.
The Choir has participated in major international choral festivals and competitions in Penang (2009), Vienna (2014) and Germany (2019), earning notable recognition. In 2026, the Choir participated in the Singapore International Choral Festival.
Singers aged 15 to 25 are recruited through annual open auditions held in April

Music Office Children’s Choir

The Music Office Children’s Choir, originally established in 1981 as the “Music Office Chinese Folk Singing Children Ensemble,” was founded to promote Chinese folk songs. Over the years, it has expanded its repertoire to encompass works in different languages and musical styles.
The Choir has participated in a wide range of performances, including community concerts, operettas and gala events. It has collaborated with renowned ensembles such as the Hong Kong Children’s Choir, Tuen Mun Children’s Choir, Sham Shui Po Children’s Choir, Kowloon City District Children’s Chorus, Macao Youth Choir, All-American Boys Chorus and the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra. In 2025, the Choir was invited to perform at the Zhuhai–Hong Kong–Macao Choral Concert, further showcasing its musical excellence on the regional stage.
Singers aged 8 to 15 are recruited through annual open auditions held in April.
